Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd is looking to hire a part time housekeeper. The position is approximately 16-24 hours per week.
We are offering a sign on incentive PT position. The sign on incentive is $1500. Sign on incentives are paid out in 5 installments over the course of 15 months. The PT housekeeper would alternate working 3 days one week and 2 days the next. The shift runs from 6:30am or 7:30am to approximately 2:30pm or 3:30pm. Salary is $14.86-$18.48 per hour, depending on experience. These are benefit eligible positions. LHGS will train and support you in every aspect of the job.
The housekeeper’s main job is to perform cleaning procedures and observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy. The housekeeper must assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment, identifies and reports any equipment malfunction to the maintenance department and dispenses soap, paper, and other housekeeping supplies. Housekeepers are required to observe infection control procedures related to the Housekeeping Department. All housekeepers will be required to learn the proper laundry procedure and be able to cover in the laundry department as needed.
